Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland Action Figure

Presenting Alice in Wonderland from Grimm's Fairy Tales as perceived through the minds of Zenescope Entertainment Inc, the people behind the comic book of the same title.

Okay everynow and then while walking through the malls or bargain centers you come across something that makes you do a double take and say WTF!!!!

At first I thought it was a Plastic Fantasy XXX Action figure. But no! The detailing was waaaaay better, the propotions more human, and the Lolita factor waaaay waaaay waaaay off the charts!

It was Alice Liddle! The main character from the borderline risque comic-book from Zenescope Entertainment Inc called "Grimm Fairy Tales presents Alice in Wonderland"

It's a really twisted take on an already twisted story.

But the female cast is really hot.

Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland's blister card reads: "The CS Moore Studio returns to the world of action figures with Zenescope Entertainment's strong and sexy heroines from the publisher's wildly-popular series Grimm Fairy Tales! Included is a copy of Zenescope's sold-out Wonderland #1 comic book, with an exclusive cover available only with this figure!"

Of course all I got from that was THERE'RE MORE FIGURES OUT THERE!!!!

A quick cursory glance though at our friends at BigBadToystore revealed however that this version is probably the most.... revealing... of the action figures out there (There's a Red variant and a very Emma Frost White Queen White Variant), but that they all cater to different tastes: Alice Liddle is a Lolita, Calie is a French Maid, the Queen of Hearts is a Dominatrix. They also come with a warning from BBTS: "Products sold by BBTS may be intended for Adult Collectors. Products may contain sharp points, small parts, choking hazards, and other elements not suitable for children under 16 years old." Hehehe :)

What's to like about the Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland Action Figure?

Do you really need to ask? Even the White Rabbit is looking up her skirt. It's a half-naked Alice Liddle action figure with wonderful proportions! I'm actually quite happy that CSMoore did not over-exaggerate her bodily proportion - which happens especially if you're a DC action figure.  As she stands, I actually know people who are proportioned like this (I'm a men's magazine publisher in real life).

So what's not to like? Alice Liddle is a big-blue eyed blonde dressed in a Lolita outfit that wouldn't even fit Lolita and actually comes with a hint of camel-toe - which is probably what the White Rabbit is staring at. She comes with the aforementioned White Rabbit, a toadstool filled base, a bottle labeled "Drink Me" that the White Rabbit can grasp, and a Croquet Hammer.

Check out Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland's beautiful blue eyes and pouting lips:

Her ability to grasp the Hammer and the bottle is a bit limited though.

But the REAL fun begin when you turn your Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland around! Let's start with the side view:

That is just so wrong. And finally:

Now that's an ass. High and proud.

Articulation for the Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland Alice Liddle Action figure is unfortunately limited - worse than most DC Direct figures. You have to fight with her hair to get her to turn and this is about the extent of her articulation if you want her balanced enough to stand without her stand.

AND!!! The Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland Action figure can do this (I'm going to hell :) ):

And from behind? :D

That's a happy Rabbit. How about close ups?

That was just soooo wrong :)

What's NOT to like about the Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland Action Figure?

Well we've discussed most of Alice Liddle's faults already - and there really aren't many. I actually don't mind the low articulation of the Grimm Fairy Tale Alice in Wonderland Action Figure because this is obviously just a display piece - especially for those of us who like half-naked fully grown women dressed in Lolita outfits - I suppose it's an acquired taste. :)

The only other problem I have with this is actually the White Rabbit. He doesn't look anything as devious, evil and conniving as the White Rabbit in the comic book series.

The Grimm Fairy Tales Alice in Wonderland Alice Liddle Action figure is available on Amazon for US$ 24.44 (Roughly PhP 1,099.80 plus shipping) This particular Alice Liddle figure was purchased from Jae's Collectibles in Megamall here in the Philippines for PhP 1,195 (roughly the same).

She's just soooo much fun :)
